We\u2019ve put together our top tips to help you find the perfect track faster than ever. From filters to sorting and even handy keyboard shortcuts \u2014 start exploring Artlist with our insider tips and tricks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tip #1: Browsing filters<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s say you need a song for a video about your cat\u2019s journey to space. Such an epic idea would, of course, need an epic track to match. We suggest you start over in the left panel and use the filters to help you find the perfect track. Here\u2019s how:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The mood is a great place to start and will help you start off your search in the right direction. We picked an epic mood for our epic journey. You can also add more filters like exciting<\/a> or dramatic<\/a> to get the feels just right. <\/span>

Video Theme<\/b>
<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Video Theme filter will help you to narrow your selection even further. In our case, the cat will be traveling to space, so the travel filter could work well. <\/span>

<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you really want to get specific about the sound you\u2019re looking for, then you can\u2019t go past the instrument’s filter. For example, synths give an awesome cyber-punk vibe, or you can turn up the drama with strings or add an angsty rock feel with electric guitar<\/a> and drums<\/a>.<\/span>

Tip #2: More sorting options<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

By now, you should have a list of music options based on the preferences you chose and the filters you selected in the left panel. Now you can sort through these even more.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simply head to the top bar, and you can sort by Staff Picks, Top Downloads, or Newest. The next sorting option you have is Vocal & Instruments. Here you can choose if you want to listen to tracks with vocals or just instrumentals. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pro tip<\/h3><\/div>

If you plan on adding narration to your videos, it\u2019s better to choose a track without vocals so the vocals won\u2019t distract your audience.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Next, you can choose the BPM, which is the song’s speed. You can add your own custom BPM<\/a> or just one of the presets like low, Med-Slow, Medium, Medium-Fast, or Fast.\u00a0Finally, you can choose the duration of the song.
