The text to image model that gets it

As creators, we’ve all been there — scrolling through endless asset libraries, settling for something close enough, or shelling out for custom design work that’ll take days. Now there’s a different option and a real solution. Just describe exactly what you need, and watch Hunyuan Image V3 bring it to life.

What makes it different?

Hunyuan V3 is built on an 80 billion parameter architecture — the largest open-source image generation model available right now. It sounds like an impressive number, but what really matters is that this means it actually understands what you’re asking for.

Most models match keywords. Hunyuan reasons with world knowledge. Tell it to “create a diagram explaining diffusion models” or “draw a witty illustration of human evolution,” and it’ll fill in the relevant visual details without you having to describe every pixel. It connects the dots between your words and the real-world concepts they represent. Take a look at this example.

Prompt: A humorous illustration depicting the evolution of humans, transitioning from early apelike ancestors to modern humans in a playful manner. Each stage is exaggerated for comedic effect, showcasing quirky features like oversized hands and funny facial expressions. The background features a lush jungle transitioning to a modern cityscape, symbolizing progress. Bright colors and a cartoonish style convey a light-hearted tone, inviting viewers to laugh at the absurdity of evolution’s journey while highlighting key developments in a whimsical way.

It’s important to note the flip side of the model’s reasoning capability. Hunyuan Image v3 can sometimes add details you didn’t explicitly ask for. It’s designed  to complete the scene logically based on world knowledge, which can be helpful, but occasionally over-eager. If you want full control, be specific in your prompts.

Why this model matters

Text that works

Unlike many image models, Hunyuan V3 can handle text in your images. It renders legible, accurate text, and supports both Chinese and English. If you test the model with long strings, complex layouts like nine-grid tutorials or infographics, it will work. The key is to wrap the exact string in double quotes in your prompt, and it’ll appear in the image.

Prompts that breathe

You can give it detailed, long, multi-line text descriptions. That means precise storytelling, multi-scene compositions, and the kind of control that lets you iterate without starting from scratch every time.

Huyuan V3 generates up to 4 images at 1K resolution natively, with support for flexible aspect ratios including 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4. Whether you’re building social content, presentations, or editorial pieces, you’ve got the formats you need.

Negative Prompts

Using negative prompts on Artlist, you can easily type in the text prompt box the list of things you want to exclude from your images. This image model responds well when you detail what you want to exclude.

Use cases: when Hunyuan V3 shines

You’ll want this model when you’re generating original creative assets such as campaigns, editorial visuals, concept art, and digital experiences. It’s also strong for brand and style iteration. You can explore color palettes, aesthetic directions, and style variations while keeping your composition or subject identity intact.

And if you need to refine existing images, natural language lets you guide edits like background changes, material swaps, lighting adjustments, and style changes.
