Biography

Cosmic Florist is the producer alias of Adam Skirving, a genre-warping composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Glasgow, Scotland. Cosmic Florist began as a solo project for Adam to experiment with writing and producing new forms of music. He began by writing guitar-leaning indie rock, integrating influences from surf, jazz, post-punk, hip hop, and electronic. Despite receiving acclaim from top publications, he decided to wipe the slate clean and re-envision Cosmic Florist. Today, he produces a steady stream of experimental singles, blending in lofi, hip hop, house, and downtempo with a strong '90s hip hop influence.
