UK-based songwriter Max Hixon is heavily inspired by 1950s and '60s rock'n'roll, creating retro music that ranges from rockabilly to slow and romantic ballads. In his home studio, he experiments with recreating vintage recording techniques and often uses gear and guitars from the '50s to achieve an authentic vintage sound.
