Biography

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) was one of the greatest Russian composers of all times, operating in the Romantic period. He's the name behind some of the world's most famous ballets, including Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, and was among the first Russian composers whose music gained long-lasting international recognition. His body of work includes a mix of symphonies, operas, ballets, overtures, choral works, songs, piano pieces and more.
