Biography
Felix Blume is a sound artist and sound engineer, currently working and living between Mexico, Brazil and France. His work is a mix of sound pieces, videos and installations, often in collaboration with diverse communities and using public spaces as the context within which he explores and presents his pieces. On top of having his work broadcasted on radios all over the world, he's participated in international festivals and exhibitions, and won multiple awards, including the Soundscape prize and the Pierre Schaeffer prize at the Phonurgia Nova Awards. His unique work explores myths and their contemporary interpretations, as well as human dialogues and ultimately what voices can tell beyond words. By focusing on listening, he invites his audience to perceive their surroundings in new ways.
